The International Xacobeo Congress returns to Compostela -November 13th to 15th

The Galician capital is preparing to host a new edition of the International Xacobeo Congress. The event will this year revolve around the theme: “The Way of St. James, a meeting of cultures. A philosophy of hospitality.”

The Portuguese Way continues to solidify its position as one of the most popular routes for those undertaking the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. During the month of October, a total of 11,556 pilgrims completed this route - a 17% increase from the last year
