Accoglienza Pellegrina is a secular and independent association that brings together volunteer hospitaleros in the tradition of hospitality on devotional routes. It is a non-profit organisation and carries out its activities exclusively on a voluntary basis, in accordance with the principles of equality, fraternity, participation and shared responsibility.

It does not directly manage accommodation facilities but collaborates with non-profit organisations and associations that offer hospitality in exchange for donations. Its members offer their support and assistance, contributing to the continuity and quality of hospitality for travellers and pilgrims, in accordance with the methods and principles of the Spanish organisation Hospitaleros Voluntarios.

It promotes training, refresher courses, advanced training and the establishment of study groups. The journey is intended as a cultural and human experience, an opportunity for growth and encounter. It does not accept funding and does not express religious or political views, maintaining an autonomous position and openness to dialogue with the social, educational and associative world. It is currently active in Italy and Spain, in union with Hosvol, in the tradition of hospitality on European routes, whose values it works to preserve.
