the 3rd General Assembly of Camino Europa Compostela, the European association of St James’s Way organisations, was held in Brussels at the offices of the Fundación Galicia Europa – with nearly 22 organisations representing 15 countries.

Southampton’s pilgrimage route milestone unveiled
Southampton has officially joined the international Camino de Santiago network with the unveiling of a new granite waymarker. Shipped from Spain, the milestone designates the city as the end of the 68-mile “St James’ Way” from Reading.

Samuel Lutz-Léchot: A Visionary of European Pilgrimage
Samuel Lutz-Léchot (1944–2025) was a visionary figure in the European pilgrimage movement. As the first president of the Swiss Pilgrimage Association jakobsweg.ch, he dedicated his life to promoting the Camino de Santiago routes across Europe.
A printed Compostela from 1529 found in Arenys de Mar
In the documentary holdings of the former Batllia of Arenys, in the Fidel Fita Historical Archive in Arenys de Mar (Barcelona), there is a 13.8 x 5.0 cm parchment fragment – a certificate of having completed the pilgrimage to Sant Jaume in Galicia.
